Children’s Day was celebrated September 14th, 2016 at the Nepal Ranger AHAN Nepal Training Center in Kathmandu.
The WWY (We’re With You) Program was created by Homma Kancho after the great earthquake in Nepal in April 2015 and has been growing ever since due to the extraordinary efforts of dedicated Nepal Ranger Instructor volunteers. The program, supervised by WO2 Dhan Gurung has taught hundreds of children affected by the earthquake, self reliance, confidence and community involvement through Aikido, physical training exercise, emergency response procedures and community volunteer projects. On Children’s Day, the kids celebrated with promotions, games and FUN! BRAVO!
