Studying Education in the United States

Not only uchideshi, Nippon Kan General Headquarters has other visitors from all over the world. International guest come to visit Nippon Kan to learn more about the United States with a hands-on approach.

This past March, Mr. Shishikura came to visit Nippon Kan from Japan after graduating with a major in education from the university. Ms. Moriyama, an international Japanese teacher with the JAICA program came to visit Nippon Kan to study Aikido and cultural program administration. On March 26th, a tour was arranged for them to visit the Denver Public School system; focusing on programs for children with special needs.

Children of all capabilities are given an opportunity for education in the Denver Public School system that even provides meals for the children when school is not in session. Currently there are students from 90 countries attending Denver’s school systems.
