Culture Fieldtrips at Nippon Kan

March 21st, 2014

Cultural fieldtrips began in March this year for Elementary and Junior High School students in Denver. These special fieldtrips offer young visitors an authentic traditional Japanese experience with tours of the facility, museum and gardens, Aikido and calligraphy demonstrations and hands-on origami and Japanese games. To complete the experience, the tours end with a Japanese lunch at Domo Restaurant. The cost for this two-hour fieldtrip is $10.00 per person including lunch. $3 of each field trip proceed is donated to AHAN to support humanitarian and community service projects worldwide. Nippon Kan General Headquarters hosts about 2000 students on these fieldtrips per year.
