Nippon Kan General Headquarters school fieldtrip program is popular with children from Denver Metro and front range schools and in 2013 over 1000 elementary school children visited Nippon Kan for a traditional Japanese experience. Usually these fieldtrips are held in the spring to coincide with Asian study schedules, but this past October 17th the children of Lincoln Academy wanted to come for an extra fall field trip. There were 80 children, teachers and parents in attendance, and the group received an extra treat as Homma Kancho was there to give them a calligraphy demonstration.
