Nepalese Army Aikido members (led by ANTC Aikido Nippon Kan Training Center (ANTC) Dan Gurung Head Instructor of Nepalese Army Rangers) are getting involved with various AHAN activities on top of and in-between regularly scheduled hard practices.

The photo(s) are from when they held “Girls Mentorship and Awareness Workshop” to commemorate this year’s International Women’s Day.

Nepalese Army Rangers ANTC Aikido instructors team has been supporting various civilian-led programs, including the We are With You (WWY) project for children, programs that help support and protect women and those who are under vulnerable circumstances, regional community development activities, just to name a few, all for the brighter future of Nepal.

These activities are not only based on the Spirit of Samurai (i.e. soldiers) that touts, “Samurai (i.e. soldiers) must serve to protect their families, their communities and their country.  And they cannot fulfil their duties without maintaining a good standing relationship with civilians.”, but driven by the Action Guidelines for Aikido Nippon Kan’s AHAN Activities.
