At the invitation of Nippon Kan A.H.A.N., Yasuo Kobayashi Shihan (http://www.cup.com/kobayashi-dojo/english/biography/biography.htm) will be coming to Denver this coming October to teach a fundraising seminar sponsored  by Nippon Kan AHAN for support of the Kobayashi Dojo Musubi Fund. The Musubi Fund sponsors Aikidoka from all over the world with scholarship support to travel to Japan to further their leadership and technical training as uchideshi students at Kobayashi Dojo Headquarters in Tokyo. Qualified students who exhibit special potential as leaders in their own communities are selected from underdeveloped countries to participate in this special humanitarian development program.

Kobayashi Shihan was a direct student and Aikikai Headquarter Instructor under the direct leadership of the Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba and remains one of the great leading pioneer instructors and testimonials of the era of the Founder. This seminar will offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from Kobayashi Shihan about his lifetime of experiences and to practice his dynamic and traditional style of Aikido.

In attendance will be Hideki Shinozaki. Mr. Shinozaki has worked as a pioneer in the development of Aikido in Cambodia through JICA (Japanese Volunteer Peace Corp), and is currently an uchideshi at Kobayashi Dojo.

This seminar is open to students of all styles and organizations, but as this special event will be held at Nippon Kan Headquarter Dojo, SPACE IS LIMITED. Pre-registration is encouraged. Deadline for pre-registration is Oct 20th.
