AHAN Myanmar students at the AHAN Jangon Community Center construction site
The AHAN Myanmar Learning Center in Yangon has about 50 students this year.  Many students come to the AHAN Myanmar Learning Center from the countryside that normally would not have the means or opportunity to come to Yangon to study. This facility provides room and board and academic study to these children, giving them an opportunity to realize their dreams. In this way, the AHAN Myanmar Learning Center is making a difference for future of the country and the future leaders in Myanmar.

There are over 200 different tribes of people that live in Myanmar. Students from many different tribes live together at the center, providing a great opportunity for future unity and understanding of one another.  This spring about 25 students studied hard and took their university entrance exams in the medical, engineering and educational departments. 19 of the 25 passed their examinations, and the other 6 will have another chance to take the examinations next time.
