100 degrees and 290 meals served! It was a HOT one!
Homma Kancho, up at dawn preparing the meals, led the charge today in AHAN Nippon Kan’s monthly meal service to the homeless in Denver.
This year marks the 25th year of service for Nippon Kan to the homeless in Denver and this summer we will pass the milestone of 80,000 meals served! Meals were served in the alley behind St. Elizabeth church on Auraria campus in downtown Denver.
